Finding our Family at Hilton Garden Inn

Hey everyone! It is time to get back in the swing of things here on the blog and first things first is talking about the stellar experience Daniel and I had while in Anaheim, California. The Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim in Garden Grove was gracious enough to host our stay while we were there and we truly loved every minute of it. From the delicious breakfasts to the kind and caring staff, we completely fell in love with this place!

We were already so excited to be in California for our first time and knowing that we were going to be staying in a spot that was going to take care of us and make sure our time spent there was magical, was really important for us! Upon arrival, the entire team welcomed us in and made us feel like we were home. They gave us a sweet basket filled with small snacks, water and a couple of fun, Disney items to enjoy and take home with us. The fact that they went out of their way to create this special moment for us was something that really stood out to me. I think it is important that guests know they can go to a staff that will resolve any issues and give the best advice while still ensuring every guest feels like they are home. Over the next three days, I watched the managers of the Hilton Garden Inn take the time to greet and speak to every guest at breakfast. There was not a morning that went by that someone from the management staff was not speaking with guests or passing out newspapers or just greeting their guests in general. That to me is something that really sets them apart from any other hotel because it really does feel like you have become a part of the family when you stay there.

The Hilton Garden Inn has multiple offerings that were very helpful during our stay, especially the bus shuttle that would take you over to Disneyland! We used this amenity every day of our stay and it was so helpful, especially with the planning of when we needed to wake up and grab breakfast before heading out to the parks. The shuttle leaves the hotel every half hour on the 15 and 45 minute mark of each hour, beginning an hour before park opening and the last bus leaving an hour after park close. This shuttle was always on time for us and saved us a lot of money considering an Uber drive was about $6 back and forth each way! Tickets for the shuttle are as follows (subject to change):

1 day adult/child: $7.00/$4.00

2 day adult/child: $12.00/$6.00

3 day adult/child: $16.00/$8.00

These prices are definitely reasonable and well priced considering that this shuttle is running throughout the day and is able to pick up every 30 minutes! I was very satisfied with this arrangement and I loved being able to use this amenity to its fullest extent.

A couple of other amenities we enjoyed while staying at the Hilton Garden Inn was the breakfast they hosted every day! They offered cook-to-order items like omelets, as well as a buffet-style meal including items such as pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and more! Every day we made sure to wake up early and jump on this fantastic offering because everything was delicious and the service staff was very helpful in making sure your meal was perfect for you. This breakfast spot turns into a great, little dinner spot with a small bar including local craft brews, as well as a full dinner menu that is open from 5-10PM with a happy hour from 5-7PM. They also have free WI-FI for the guests staying and a 24-hour fitness center and pool that is open from 8am-10pm.

Getting the opportunity to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Anaheim was a dream come true and we can’t wait to get back to California to stay there again! Being only a mile away from the happiest place on earth is something truly special and really puts a positive touch to this hotel, or as I like to think of it a home away from home! This will definitely be a place that we will keep near and dear to our hearts for any visits in the future.
